This is Jimmy Cornell's website. It is not particularly pet-related, but does include a lot of other useful information. Go to this webpage and click on 'Countries' for official information of a general nature. Some of it is pet related, however most of it is more concerned with general entrance requirements for you and your vessel. If you go to his home page you will find a great deal of information of some value to the international, long distance cruiser.
This is the official website of the Seven Seas Cruising Association. Annie and I are Commodores in this fine organization and the website offers a wealth of information for cruisers and would-be cruisers. If you're not a member, sign up at the website. Keep an eye on the website as I am working closely with the SSCA to assemble a webpage dealing with pet related cruising issues. Over the next several weeks to months I hope to put together some very useful information for you.
WorldClinic is a major provider of personal human health care across the country or around the world. The organization gives you immediate access to your own personal physician while you are at home or sailing around the world. As a member you are only a telephone call or an e-mail message away from instant advice. Among other services, they maintain your medical records and provide you with your own personal prescription medical kit and any needed advice on how to use it. If referral or hospitalization is advisable, they will make the necessary contacts and arrange transportation if necessary, then monitor the entire process. Captain Doctor Dave is presently veterinary consultant to this organization as we attempt to add veterinary care to their list of available services. Check out their website!

Yoga aficionados may be interested in doing their thing right on board their boat. Kim Hess has a book and a video on the subject and related accessories. Her slogan is 'Let the beauty we love be what we do.' (Rumi).
Trevor Hodgson writes useful sailing books and books on historical issues relating to places they have sailed in their extensive voyaging. Check them out.
If there is one pet life jacket that I have heard praised repeatedly by owners of large breed dogs, it's the 'K-9 Float Coat' from RUFFWEAR. I cannot personally vouch for it, but users of this jacket tell me that it has super strong lifting rings and is extremely well made.
I'm finally coming out of the closet on this issue. Commercial dry cat foods are NOT good for your cat. I've felt this way for years and have privately told my clients when their cats had obesity and diabetes issues, but now I'm going on record. This is Dr. Elizabeth Hodgkins' website and she offers up some really significant alternative feeding opinions. Look over the pages on feeding for diabetes control, obesity, etc. She's felt this way for years too.
