For an upcoming revised edition of "Wilderness Veterinary Companion for Cruisers," I am attempting to compile a listing of veterinarians and veterinary facilities conveniently located for cruiser access to be included in an appendix to the book. In the U.S., Europe, and other populated regions, this means those facilities which are located within a reasonable walk of where you might tie up a dinghy. Obviously, in less developed or more remote areas where veterinary facilities are difficult to find or are few and far between, this would mean ANY veterinarian that might be accessible from a port by cab, bus, or other local transport. I would prefer personal experience, rather than third party information, but all will be considered. And obviously this will be an on-going project.
Please do not send partial information. To be usable the information must include veterinarian's name, clinic name, address, phone number, and directions for walking there (or access by road, if in more remote areas), including where you may tie up your dinghy. Standard business card information is the minimum that I need as I will have no way to assess the accuracy of infomation received.
